The picture on the left is a JPI engine monitor.  It is my intention to use the basic Arduino 4.3 architecture to make an engine/mechanical systems monitor for the aircraft.  Watch for this project, as there are far fewer technical problems to be solved on this project than on flight based instrument projects.

  • Fuel Pressure
  • Outside Air Temperature
  • CHT X 4 or 6
  • EGT X 4 or 6
  • Engine HP
  • Fuel Flow Rate
  • Fuel Quantity X 2
  • Upper Deck Pressure
  • Lower Deck Pressure
  • Loadmeter
  • Ampmeter
  • Voltmeter

There are certainly many other items to add, but this seems like a good start.  In addition to all of the above, data logging on a Micro-SD card seems like a good idea.  Check back in late Summer of 2019 to see if I have made any progress.  IF you have any feature requests, let me know.
